Our Mission

The mission of the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra is to present live classical music in enjoyable and accessible ways to a diverse and expanding audience in eastern Pennsylvania.

We do this by:

  1. forging a dynamic connection between our musicians and audiences, to provide meaningful and fulfilling concert experiences for all,

  2. showcasing the capabilities of a smaller orchestra, presenting high-quality, imaginatively programmed performances for chamber ensembles throughout the year,

  3. keeping ticket prices low, offering family-friendly plans for young music students, and creating special opportunities for underserved groups to attend our concerts, and

  4. reaching out to new listeners of all ages and backgrounds, to ensure that classical music is cherished for generations to come.
