Our mission

The mission of the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra is to present live classical music in enjoyable and accessible ways to a diverse and expanding audience in eastern Pennsylvania.

We do this by: 

• forging a dynamic connection between our musicians and audiences, to provide meaningful and fulfilling concert experiences for all,
• showcasing the capabilities of a smaller orchestra, presenting high-quality, imaginatively programmed performances for chamber ensembles throughout the year,
• keeping ticket prices low, offering family-friendly plans for young music students, and creating special opportunities for underserved groups to attend our concerts, and
• reaching out to new listeners of all ages and backgrounds, to ensure that classical music is cherished for generations to come.
